Vintage Boy's Pinstriped Knickers, Black Wool 1920s, unworn but damaged

MEASUREMENTS: The knickers are 25 inches long, 10 inch rise, 16 inch inseam. They are 12-1/2 inches across the waist, laying flat
MATERIAL: wool
LABEL: paper label that says 'Age 15'
CLEANING: as found, they have not been washed
Black wool boy's knickers with light pinstripes. Belt loops, two front pockets and a curved back pocket. Button fly, fitted below knees with adjustable buttons.

CONDITION: The tag still being attached makes the knickers unworn, but they have damaged. The wool is torn is a 2 inch area on the waist with a loose belt loop. The black wool is worn off in areas down the front and the back of the knickers. There are several holes along the old fold lines from years of being folded and stored. One legs has two 1+ inch tears on the front of one leg, above the knee. The other legs also has a 1-1/2 inch tear in the same areas. At least 20 small holes on the seta of the pants. Some browning on the back from age or dirt. Some fine fibers come off of the pants when handling.
