ERA: True vintage item from the 1960s

MEASUREMENTS: The jacket is 17 inches long in the front 24 inches longer in the back. 17 inches across the shoulders, 23 inch long sleeves, 42 inches around the chest.

The pants are 37 inches long, 26-1/2 inseam, 14 inch rise, 36-1/2 inch waist

MATERIAL: thin wool

LABEL: 'Amalgamated suit union label' '42 short'

CLEANING: dry cleaned

 

Lightweight woven wool cloth fabric with black silk lapels and stripe down the side of the legs. The jacket has single outer pocket and 1 hidden pocket in the satin lining. 

The pants have 2 front pockets, 2 back pockets and buttons on the waist for suspenders. Also tabs with buttons on the side to adjust the waist.

 

CONDITION: Excellent condition, no flaws seen except for a 5 inch section of the lining that need to be stitched at the back of the waist of the jacket.
