#FAB17- Dusty Peach floral Crepe Gown & cape - $255.00

Era - 1930s
Measurements - Dress is 54 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 27 waist and 37 inch hips. The cape is 16 inches wide across the top of the shoulders and 42 inches long down the back.
Label - none
Fabric - a honeycomb-like crepe rayon weave

The fabric is a soft woven rayon crepe in a dusty peach floral with black-brown background. The cape is just like a little rounded coccoon with a seam across the top for the shoulders. The inner edge of the cape is lined with a wide strip of solid peach and a strip of solid black crepe, otherwise the rest of the cape is unlined. There is a strap on each side to hold the cape into your arms. The cape is angled down the sides to become longer in the back.
The floorlength gown is sexy and clingy. The front has a v-neck that has a strip of peach fabric on one side and a black strip on the other side. The fabric strips are twisted together on the front of the bust and stitched into place. Then they hang loose in two long pieces down the front of the gown. Clingy over the hips and a slit on the front-side of the lower skirt. The back is also a low v-back and there are snap and hook openings on the back of the gown. The gown is unlined. From the estate of NY Milliner Jessie Laurent Harper.

Condition - This set is in very good to excellent condition and it is wearable. There are three light 1/4+ inch spots on the bust of the dress. The cape has the faintest, faintest, faintest hint of discolor (I don't even want to call it discolor. The color just doesn't seems as sharp, not really discolored) on the shoulders, and there are 2 light brown 1/2 age spots on the front of shoulder, which I point to in the video.

Soft bodied hat made of a woven gold metalic fabric. Seamed top with short fold up brim. Has red and purple feathers stitched on the top. This hat was part of a performer's costume. Lined in a sheer organdy-like fabric.

#30-104- Burgundy Crepe Dress with Cutouts - $100.00

Era - late 1930s
Measurements - 42 inches long, fits 38 inch bust, 32 waist, 42 hips
Label - none, has been cut out
Fabric - creped rayon/acetate

Burgundy crepe dress, so yummy, and a nice size too. It is pullover style with snaps down the side and a single snap on the front of the neck. It has a loopy fabric bow, and then decorative buttons down the front to the waist. Seamed waist with matching belt. Gored skirt. There is decorative topstitching on the front of the shoulders. Sleeves are full with cuffs that are fitted. Tops of sleeves have sheer appliques, and there is also a secition of sheer and appliques on the upper back. Dress is unlined.

Condition - Very good to excellent condition. It does have light marks under arms on the front. I didn't see them when I first took the pictures, but they show lightly in flourescent lighting. The fullness of the fabric, and the lightness of the marks themselves will keep them from being too noticeable.

#30-106- Three Piece Red Silk Embroidered Pajamas - $100.00

Era - 1930s
Measurements - Top is 24 inches long, fits 34 bust, 40 around bottom. Jacket is is 24 inches long, fits 36 inch bust. Pants are 40 inches long, fits 38 inch hips with room
Label - none
Fabric - silk satin

No, I cannot keep these! If you know me, you know that I have a weakness for pajamas from the 1920-30s, and these are a great example of the type that I love! Red silk satin with white Oriental style embroidery. The set consists of a sleeveless top, and open front jacket with long sleeves, and wide legged pants with bell bottoms. Top is pullover with white piping and a little heart shaped pocket. It has two dragons embroidered along the neckline. Has loops for belt, but that is missing. The open front jacket also has white trim and dragons embroidered around the bottom on the front and on the back too. The long pants have yoke front with white piping and elastic across the back of the waist. The bottoms flair with white triangle gussets that have embroidered dragons on them too.

Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen except the pants need new elastic in the back of the waist.
