Era - early 1930s Measurements - Dress is 46 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 34 waist, 40 hips. Jacket is 25 inches long, 14 across shoulders, 23 inch sleeves, fits 36 inch bust Label - none Fabric - cotton Cleaning - hand washed, hung to dry Excellent cotton set made of a tiny white and green houndstooth and 1 inch gingham linings and trims. The dress has gingham collar and scarf, loose waist with belt that has carved mother of pearl buckle. Nicely sewn details of a faux peplum below waist, pleats on center-front of skirt. Pintucks on the fronts of the shoulders, hem is lined in the gingham fabric. No openings on dress, unlined. The open front jaclet has gingham cuffs and pointed pockets. Lined entirely in gingham, which shows along the fronts. Condition - Excellent condition. A few teeny, scattered pin dot age spots. Era - 1930s Measurements - Dress is 42 inches long, fits 26 inch chest, 25 waist, full hips. Jacket is 12 inches long fits 28 inch chest. Label - none, handmade Fabric - cotton and organdy Cleaning - Has not been cleaned Handmade cotton dress and bodice for a girl. I'm guessing that it was probably made for George Washington's 200th birthday, which was a big ta-doo in 1932, but it could have been made for another event. Dress has thin and rough cotton bodice with full gathered blue floral skirt. No opeings to get into the dress. The fitted bodice has big organdy collar and puffed cuffs. White glass buttons down the front. Both pieces are unlined. Condition - Good condition. Light fade on the front and the back of the bodice and down several large sections of the skirt. The undershirt lining of the dress is rough and unfinished around the edges and torn down the side. Hem is unfinished on skirt. Close up #5 #30-634- sz38 Shiny Rayon Satin Peach Nightgown - $60.00

Dark ivory cotton lace trims the front and back of the v-neck with embroidery on the front edge of the lace. Gathered puffed sleeves with lace trim. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. The bust is sheer creped chiffon with matte satin stripes and ribbon bows on the tops of the shoulders. Fuller hemline. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Era - 1930s Measurements - 60 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 25-1/2 inch waist, 38 hips, 140 inch skirt sweep around the hem Label - Fabric - silk taffeta Cleaning - Dry cleaned Awesome full length black gown made of silk taffeta - swoosh! Gathered down the center of the bodice and shirred/puffed short sleeves. Folded collar on the front of neckline slit down the back with hook closure. Ruffle around the lower half of the front of the skirt which goes around skirt and up to the behind in the back. Lower half of skirt is fuller. Unlined, metal side zipper. Condition - Very good to excellent condition. Could use a crisper ironing than I could give it. There is a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 L-shaped tear on the side, a few inches up from hem. Era - 1930s Measurements - dress is 56 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 28 waist, 36 hips. Jacket is 13 inches long Label - none Fabric - silk lace over acetate taffeta Cleaning - This set has been carefully handwashed by me. I recommend dry cleaning unless you have alot of experience handwashing Love this. Long black gown made of lace with a swirling pattern in it. Thins straps, gathering at center of bust. Jeweled belt buckle on belt that snaps. Metal side zipper, taffeta lining. Fuller bottom. Dress is attached to lining, it is not a separate slip. Condition - Gown is in excellent condition. A few small repairs were made in the lace - not that you will be able to spot. The jacket has about small scattered breaks in the lace 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size. #30-288- Sheer Blue Rayon Chiffon Bedjacket - $10.00 -
Era - 1930s Measurements - 17 inches long, 14 inches across shoulders, fits 34 to 36 inch bust Label - Styled by Estern Isle Fabric - creped rayon chiffon. Cleaning - this has been soaked lightly in mild soap, hung to dry Very pretty pale blue, all sheer chiffon bedjacket with satin appliques. Ribbon ties on the front of rouched neckline and the ends of the slightly puffed sleeves. Two satin floral appliques on the front and on the tops of sleeves. Condition - Good condition. On the lower front there are six 1/4 inch holes with several smaller holes around them, along with a faint yellow ring around the holes - see photo. Era - 1920s 30s Measurements - sz8-1/2, 28 inches long from top of welt to back of heel Label - 'an IWDGA Product' Fabric - cotton Cleaning - Item has not been cleaned. Hand washing is recommended. A fabulous pair of unworn seamed stockings from the 1920s. They are tan, unmarked but they feel like a mercerized cotton knit. 3 inch welt top with keyhole opening inside, seam down the back. Reinforced from heel to toe. The stockings are opaque. Still have paper label on the tops 'an IWDGA Product'. Requires garters to wear. Era - 1938 Measurements - 8-1/2 x 8 inches Label - none, hand made Fabric - silk taffeta Interesting little purse that was entered as 'Most Appropriate gift for an elderly lady' at the 1938 New Jersey State Fair. It is made of an olive-brown taffeta with hand stitched trapunto quilting on the front and the back. Has ivory lining, two short straps and a metal zipper closure. Condition - Very good condition. There are a few small holes in the silk around the top edge fold and there is a 1/4 inch hole on the side where you can see the quilting fiber poking out. #30L-361- Peach Silk Satin Teddy - $45.00

It has straps that do NOT adjust and a button crotch. Ties at waist. Condition - Excellent condition, no flaws seen. Light wear.
