Era - 1930s
Measurements - The dress is 58 inches long, it will fit a 36 inch bust, 30 inches at waist, 38 inches at hips. Jacket is 18 inches long, 16 inches across shoulders, 37 inch bust

Cleaning - Lightly hand washed and hung to dry.

Mauve all lace gown and jacket. The jacket has short sleeves and open front. The gown has v-neck and wide waist, velvet flowers at bust. Cap sleeves and keyhole opening on the back. Hem is slightly fuller. Dress is unlined, no slip with it. Snap opening on the sides, matching belt.

Condition - The dress is in very good to excellent condition. I see no holes in the lace and the lace feels strong when you pull on it. There is a 1/4 inch repair on the back-center of the jacket. Both pieces do have some scattered light brown age spots (1/2 inch in size) which includes a 10 inch area on the mid-front of dress that has very faint spots.

Measurements - Buckle set is 1-1/2 x 3 inches across.
Label - no marking

Very nicely detailed silver metal buckle set, hooks together at center. The set is currently on a silk belt, but that is damaged.

Condition - The buckle set is in excellent condition. It has a little crooked, but it looks like that is because of where the loops are set - they are not bent.

#30-44- 1930s Embroidered Yellow Rayon Oriental Top - $20.00

Era - 1930s
Measurements - 23 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 37 around bottom
Label - none
Fabric - woven rayon satin

This pullover shiny yellow satin rayon top has a great Oriental style to it. I'm guessing that it was the top to pajamas. It has a black high necked collar and black trim on a curve down the front, where it opens with hidden snaps. The black has black and yellow decorative frog and narrow ivory cotton lace along the edges. There is thick rayon embroidery in red, blue, green and pink. The ends of the sleeves are trimmed in black and there was once elastic on the inside of the wrists to gather the fabric, forming bell shapes at the end of the sleeves. Two small pockets with lace and black trim.

Condition - Very good condition. The top has a 1-1/2 inch brown ring mark under the front of each underarm. I haven't tried to wash this piece to removes those marks because of the embroidery. Rayon dyed threads like those tend to bleed when wet. The elastic on the sleeves has lost it's stretch
