#DV-515- Blue Striped Chiffon Strapless Gown - $40.00 -
Era - 1950s Measurements - 56 inches long, fits 34 inch bust, 24 waist, full hips Label - none, appears to be handmade. Fabric - nylon chiffon over acetate lining.
Pretty gown in stripes that are shades of blue, with acetate taffeta lining. Strapless, gathered boddice, wide fitted waist, super full skirt. Metal zipper down the back.
Condition - Very good to excellent condition. There are a few small scattered holes in the chiffon, none stand out as noticeable because of the fullness of the fabric. The seam under the bust on the front is a little crooked.
The seams on the back of the bodice don't quite match up either. I don't think this will be anything too noticeable.
Light gold gown with satin sheen and brocade design of Oriental flowers. Gown is fitted with vertical darts, no seam at waist.
High collar, full length sleeves, slits on side of skirt. It is unlined and has nylon zipper down the back.
#DV-939- Olive Velvet and Ivory Brocade XS Gown - $30.00
Era - 1970s Measurements - 53 inches long, fits 30 inch bust, 23 waist, full hips Label - Lorrie Deb San Fransisco Fabric - cotton velvet with rayon brocade
I really like the look of this gown - olive green velvet top with cut-in shoulders. Long ivory brocade skirt, has tulle layer underneath to give it a bit of a puff at hips. Two velvet tails hang down the back.
This was too small for my mannequin, so it is gapping open in the back view photo.
Era - late 1960s Measurements - 36 inches long, fits 36 inch bust, 34 waist, 37 hips Label - Sun Flower Fashions, made in Korea Fabric - nylon and acetate
Cute light blue lace, bit of a lavender undertone. Sheer lace sleeves that are full length. Lined body and cuffs. Has fabric covered buttons all the way down the front.
Very uniquely designed dress that is a brown and silver brocade. There's alot going on on this dress, so let's see if I can explain it all clearly. The neckline has a big floppy collar
that can be worn pulled down low or up higher towards the neckline. The sleeves are short and puffy with scalloped piecing around the middle, fitted at the bottoms.
The bust has a diagonal seam across it with tiny gathers. There are folds of fabric around the front and the back of the waist. The skirt is long and straight with a high slit up the back with
a piece of fabric under the slit. On one side of the skirt is an attached piece of pleated fabric that hangs down the side (see last photo) On the other side of the skirt are two shorter
fantail pleated pieces of fabric, one overlapping over the other. The dress is very nicely made with weights on the inside. Unlined with metal zipper on the back.
Condition - Very good condition. There is a hint of light fade on the tops of the sleeves. This isn't too bad because the fabric has kind of an irredescence in light anyway.
